GMERS Medical College Navsari, an institution under the governance of the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society, is proudly affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in Surat. Conveniently situated, it is situated in close proximity to Surat Airport, a mere 50 kilometers away, and Navsari Railway Station, just 10 kilometers from the college. The sprawling campus encompasses the college and hospital buildings, along with residential accommodations tailored to meet the needs of doctors, nursing staff, and students.

Spanning across an expansive 30-acre expanse of lush greenery, our medical college is home to a multitude of facilities, including a teaching hospital, auditorium, faculty and nursing staff quarters, resident quarters, boys' and girls' hostels, a playground, and other essential amenities. The campus also offers separate hostel accommodations with meal services for both male and female students. In keeping with our commitment to a safe and inclusive environment, GMERS Medical College Navsari rigorously adheres to the Prevention of Ragging Regulation, 2009, and steadfastly condemns any form of ragging.

GMERS Medical College, Navsari, is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi General Hospital, Navsari, a multi-specialty hospital with a rich history of operation dating back to 1964, subsequently upgraded to a full-fledged medical college.

Our institution welcomed its inaugural class of 100 MBBS students during the academic year 2022-23. The MBBS program spans a duration of 4 years and 1½ years, inclusive of a mandatory one-year rotational internship. The curriculum is structured into Four phases. The first MBBS, encompassing 12 months, comprises foundational subjects such as Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, and Community Medicine. The second MBBS, a 12-month phase, delves into subjects like Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine. The third phase, 3rd MBBS part-1, a 12-month phase, delves into subjects like Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine and other clinical subjects. The final Phase (forth phase, 3rd MBBS part-2),  extends over 18 months, with a 1 month elective period, encompassing subjects like Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pulmonary Medicine, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, Skin & Venereal Diseases, ENT, Radiology, and Dentistry. To facilitate comprehensive learning, we maintain a highly qualified faculty complement, employing diverse teaching methods, including theory lectures, interactive practical sessions, live demonstrations, and other pedagogical approaches. The college is steadfastly dedicated to nurturing the capabilities of our medical students through a well-conceived plan of clinical integrated teaching.
